Do you know the ukiyoe woodblock printing technique of Japan’s Edo Period? Many ukiyoe prints were produced during the Edo Period and the craft techniques used to make them became highly refined. Ukiyoe prints are easily damaged when exhibited, so what we do is reproduce the same Edo Period pictures by the original methods. This use of preserved, woodblock carving and printing techniques enables viewers to see the ukiyoe prints exactly as they would have looked in the Edo Period. Printing work
