A traditional performing art of Okinawa with a history spanning some 300 years, Kumiodori is a dance-drama comprising dialogue in the ancient Okinawan language as well as Ryukyuan music, dance, and movement. Hand props, stage settings, and costumes are all essential elements of Kumiodori performances.
